    Mission

    The mission of the Advertising Program of the Communication Arts Department at the American University of Science & Technology is to be recognized among faculty in peer programs, as well as among advertising practitioners, as the top advertising program in Lebanon and the region.. The target is to maintain this status as the leaders in advertising creativity so as to stay on the cutting-edge of knowledge and technologies affecting the advertising field.

    Vision

    The Advertising Program of the Communication Arts Department at the American University of Science & Technology has been focusing on building up students’ artistic creative aspect, with a special focus on advertising account planning and media planning and buying which would allow the graduates to act as an “Advertising Analytics”, especially since industry today requires employees who are adept at handling gathered data in a professional and creative manner.

    Lastly, the terms “shopper marketing” and “brand activation” did not even exist twenty years ago, but over the past five years, they have become more and more common and central in the field of Advertising. In the coming semesters, the Communication Arts Department will be offering the first complete “shopper marketing and brand activation” courses.
